About the Artist, Leslie Holt
Leslie Holt is an artist living in Hyattsville, MD. She has a BFA in Painting from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA in Painting from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Leslie has taught college and in community locations since 2001. She has also worked as a social worker and advocate for people with disabilities and people receiving welfare benefits. Currently, Leslie is Co-director of Red Dirt Studio, a warehouse artist studio in Mt. Rainier, MD. In addition, she teaches adults with mental health conditions and developmental disabilities in DC area communities. She exhibits her work nationally and is represented by David Lusk Gallery in Memphis.
